Five ways to speak your audience's language — with AI as the assistant, and humans as the storytellers.
One day, some person decided that humans give and receive love through five love languages. I'm only half sold on that theory (I think love has soooo many more layers than five!), but I do love the idea that we each have a language through which we connect with others.
Also, isn't that what brand storytelling and communications are all about? Understanding the language our audiences speak and finding meaningful ways to connect with them?
Enter AI, and naturally, our brand languages are evolving. In the spirit of the original five love languages, I'm sharing The Five Love Languages...of Comms in the Age of AI. Sure, there are a thousand more. But let's start with the basics ;)
The Five Languages
Words of Automation
Check every message against your human insight to ensure it's relevant, authentic, and true to your audience.
Acts of Optimization
The magic isn't just doing more with less. Use AI to anticipate needs, conduct deeper research, understand your audience, and personalize experiences.
Tokens of Affection
Storytelling matters more than ever. Use AI to uncover insights, but bring your human perspective to turn them into stories that resonate.
Quality Prompt Time
Great storytelling has never been about volume. It's about making people FEEL something. Use AI to sharpen your ideas, not flood the feed.
Human Touchpoints
The best stories are still told by humans. Let AI do what it does best: research, fact-checking, quality assurance, and all the behind-the-scenes heavy lifting. But give yourself the gift of writing, storytelling, and mindfulness.
LOVE your audiences.
All they need is love.
